- ➤ New Hanover County Schools is celebrating bus drivers during School Bus Driver Appreciation Week as it faces a nationwide shortage, with drivers covering extra routes and 20 available positions (to boost service). FOX Wilmington
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has issued a boil water advisory for 300 customers on Greenville Loop Road and nearby neighborhoods since Feb. 11. Residents must boil tap water for 1 minute before use while crews work to repair the system. Port City Daily
- ➤ Novant Health’s board approved a $1 billion expansion to boost cardiovascular care in New Hanover County. The project will build a heart & vascular tower at South 17th Street and an 80,000 sqft outpatient office in Wilmington over five to seven years, with the tower opening by 2031. WECT
