- ➤ The UNCW Kappa Sigma fraternity is hosting its 5th annual Music for Military Heroes concert on Saturday, Mar. 21 at Shipface Nightclub in Wilmington — live music from SUSTO, Wim Tapley, and the Cannons will raise funds for military veterans and their families. WECT
- ➤ Wilmington’s first Repair Café will take place Saturday, March 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Holy Cross Episcopal Church as community members bring broken items to fix alongside experienced coaches while organizers supply basic tools and supplies. WECT

- ➤ Brunswick County Public Utilities has issued a boil-water advisory for Sunset Beach at 32nd Street, 506, and 602 West Main due to a water main break on March 18, causing low water pressure and outages; residents must boil water for one minute or use bottled water until further notice. WECT

- ➤ North Carolina High School Athletic Association announced today that longtime East Bladen girls basketball coach Patty Evers has been inducted into the 2026 Hall of Fame. Evers compiled a career record of 655 wins (580 with the Lady Eagles) and returned as head coach this season after a brief retirement. WWAY
