- ➤ US 421 is shut down at the Thomas Rhodes Bridge today because of a wreck (causing major backups on both sides) as drivers are redirected to US 74 east and the Isabel Holmes Bridge. FOX Wilmington

- ➤ A poll from StarNews on March 25 showed local readers favor H Mart (an Asian supermarket chain) over Wegman’s to open a new grocery store, with H Mart receiving over 52% of 4,288 votes. The poll reflects a strong community interest in new retail options. Wilmington Star-News

- ➤ Thalian Hall’s Bluegrass Bash returns later this month with three local bands and a parking lot pre-show. Neighbors can look forward to live bluegrass music at a well-loved venue in the community. WECT
