- ➤ Residents celebrated the Azalea Festival in downtown Wilmington as hundreds watched the April 5 parade with floats, marching bands, and dancers on Market Street — and the street fair later featured vendors, games, food, and fireworks — while earlier events crowned Queen Azalea Bethany Joy Lenz and hosted a garden tour and celebrity reception. - ➤ Chemours and water utility groups have jointly sued the EPA to overturn PFAS drinking water standards that require systems to complete expensive filtration by 2029.
