- ➤ Carolina Beach is planning a pet memorial called Rainbow Bridge that will have wooden planks to honor pets with fur, feathers, or scales. Fundraising started a week ago — 42 of 133 planks have been claimed — and the project will be completed by the end of summer ahead of Pets in the Park. WWAY
