- ➤ More than 650 Food Lion employees volunteered today in Wilmington to sort produce, build senior nourishment boxes and work in community gardens with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, helping fight food insecurity. - ➤ Cameron Art Museum will open Andy Warhol: Silver Clouds exhibit on June 19 as part of Fresh Air: Inflatable Sculptures, featuring helium-filled reflective pieces from 1966 and remaining open until Sep. 27; CAM members will preview the show on June 18. WECT

- ➤ Plastic Ocean Project will host its 5th Annual For the Ocean Gala on Saturday, April 25 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center; the event honors Captain Charles Moore and Ralph Chami for their ocean conservation work while raising funds to combat plastic pollution. WWAY
- ➤ North Carolina Aquariums will lead the state's City Nature Challenge from Apr. 24-27 as residents use the free iNaturalist app to record local wildlife and upload observations by May 10.
