- ➤ Wilmington Police searched for a suspect in a parking garage shooting early Sunday morning after reports of shots fired in downtown Wilmington—officers stopped a vehicle based on video evidence from the scene. WECT

- ➤ CFPUA will begin sewer smoke-testing in several Wilmington neighborhoods starting Saturday, May 17 in the Waterford area of Myrtle Grove and extending to other areas from May 19 over about two weeks (tests run Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while services remain unaffected).
