  • The Pender County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding 13-year-old Lilly Isabella Roberts, who was last seen around 11:47 p.m. on Friday near (111 Dreyton Hall Court) in Rocky Point and is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds with dark blonde hair in a ponytail while wearing a plaid shirt that may be pink and carrying a backpack.  WWAY

  • The North Carolina Highway Patrol is launching a new recruitment program that pays trooper candidates full cadet training fees to help fill 240 vacancies statewide. Chandler Nance (a Citadel graduate following in his father's footsteps) will join the force and applicants can apply until June 29.  WECT
  • Today on Memorial Day, the USS Battleship North Carolina held its 61st annual ceremony to honor fallen soldiers—state Representative Ted Davis, Representative David Rouzer, and Brigadier General Ralph Rizzo Jr. led the recitation of names to remind locals of the sacrifices made by service members and their families.  FOX Wilmington
