- ➤ NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher closed in June for a two-and-a-half-year renovation to add a 400,000-gallon shark habitat, coral exhibit, interactive touch pool and expanded education center on site. - ➤ Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will issue a boil water advisory affecting about 80 customers on downtown blocks of South Front, Ann, Nun, S. 3rd, and S. 2nd Streets at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 4 + crews will replace broken valves while residents boil water for one minute before use. WECT
- ➤ WWAY CBS airs the 2026 StormTrack 3 Hurricane Special today at 7:30 p.m., offering coastal residents key tips on flood risks, storm surge, and storm preparedness (the half-hour program explains forecast methods and watch-to-warning differences).
