- ➤ A Maryland food company recalled several salsa and cucumber products made with cucumbers from Bedner Growers Inc. after the FDA linked them to a salmonella risk—the recalled items had use-by dates in May, were sold in North Carolina and other states, and no illnesses were reported. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ UNCW began a feasibility study last fall to explore renovating Trask Coliseum or building a new arena and concert venue to improve fan amenities—feedback is being collected from alumni and season ticket holders.
