- ➤ Before Saturday morning, Kure Beach Police responded at 4:40 a.m. to a shooting at 122 Hanby Ave—finding a male victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound who was transported to a hospital and a male suspect taken into custody—as officers secured the area. WWAY
- ➤ Just after 10 p.m. Friday, the Wilmington Police Department answered a call on East Lake Shore Drive—and officers found a male who was pronounced dead and are now investigating the suspicious death. WWAY
- ➤ Kure Beach police reported a shooting at 122 Hanby Ave. on Saturday around 4:40 a.m.—one person sustained life-threatening injuries while no suspects have been identified. FOX Wilmington
- ➤ Early Saturday at 4:40 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at 122 Hanby Ave. in Kure Beach where a man was suffering life-threatening injuries and another man was taken into custody—with help from Carolina Beach Police and New Hanover County Sheriff's Office, the scene was secured and Hanby Ave. closed after 11 a.m., and police said the incident was isolated with no threat to the public.
