- ➤ Northside Food Co-op invited locals to community meetings to discuss plans for a full-service grocery store in downtown Wilmington after pausing efforts when a new store was announced on Chestnut Street—this comes as the area has not had a nearby grocery option for over 35 years and now benefits from renewed funding. An in-person meeting will be held July 29 at 6:30 p.m.—location to be announced—and a virtual meeting is set for July 30 at 12:30 p.m. on Zoom. WECT
