- ➤ The Brooklyn Arts Center is a historic venue built in 1889 that celebrates its 136th anniversary this year and now hosts weddings, concerts, and other events after a near-demolition in the mid-1990s. Local owners Jason and Tara Tatum restored the building with original church features—such as salvaged wood for the stage and lobby—preserving a significant piece of Wilmington history.
