- ➤ Mount Calvary Center for Leadership Development will hold holiday food distribution events this week — one event starts today at 11 a.m. at its Wilmington office at 2709 Market Street and the other starts Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Wallace at 414 N. Norwood Street as supplies last. WECT
- ➤ Saint Marks community church on Grace Street hosted a Thanksgiving meal event this past weekend that provided more than 50 local residents with traditional holiday food, with guests able to dine in or take food to go. - ➤ WINGS Ministry of Brunswick County raised about $25,000 at its annual holiday brunch, auction, and fashion show to support its Backpack Full of Blessings program—an initiative that has provided 1.2 million meals to children and families.
